Do I What?!

Ok, so I just outed myself as that "behind the times chick who doesn't GET twitter." Seriously, I just DON'T get it. Do I really need to know what people are doing at any given minute? Better yet, do I want to know?
While watching Good Morning America the other day the anchors were tweeting WHILE they were on the air. Um, what was the point in that? I can totally see you on TV. You don't need to tweet me to tell you you're about to do the weather.

I dunno, man. Maybe I'm just scared that if I delve into the world of Twitter that I'll never dig myself out.
I do know the story how Twitter pretty much saved some guy after he was arrested in a foreign country. As he was being arrested he twitted twatted tweeted about it and his friends got in contact with the American Embassy yadda, yadda, yadda, Twitter saved the day. So on that note, Yay for Twitter!
But still I resist. I really don't expect to find myself in a situation where Twitter would save my life. But then again, there is a chance. Why risk it, eh?
So, who wants to school this chick on the magic of Twatting?! Oh Stephen Colbert, how you make me giggle.
Seriously folks, I'm absolutely clueless. I DO have a Twitter account. I got that far but then I got scared and ran away like a little schoolgirl. Teach me, oh wise readers.

OMG! They were talking about it on the radio this morning. How unless you have something SERIOUS going on Twitter is really kinda useless... I mean between facebook status and blogging I think everyone is very well versed in what I do on a minute to minute basis!

EXACTLY. I have a hard enough time keeping up with my Facebook and Myspace statuses. Throw in blogging and I'm pretty well busy for the day.

I'm totally lame myself and have not jumped on this. I just don't have the time.

Between here, facebook and my real life.....ahhhhhhhhhh.

No twittering for me, thanks. So you are not alone. Glad I am not the only one either! Go on with your bad self. Also, should you be detained, just throw up the M light, and I shall know you are in trouble.

I don't twit, tweet, or twat (twat sounds so vulgar huh?). I did try it, though, once...okay, twice. But my first twit was like...er...about to make lunch...my second one was...about to cook dinner. I thought...gee..my life is so interesting...so my tweet went poot and I stopped.

Amen. I'm so glad you said it. I've been in the closet alone for so long. I actually have a twitter account and for awhile had the "Follow Me on Twitter" button on my blog, but realized one day how stupid it all is. I have nothing to say several times an hour in 140 characters or less that anyone should want to waste their time reading. So I only use it to tweet contests or discuss Lost. But I am so with you on not getting the appeal or purpose of it...
